Ray Darr Elementary brought down the house with their Drug Free Rally! The Mavericks were welcomed to the event by their Principal Mr. Moreno and were able to hear from very special guest speaker, Sheriff Tom Schmerber.
It was performances and presentations galore as well, with routines by The Golden Diamondettes, The Galaxy Dance Team, skits from 4th - 6th grade student council, and of course it would not be a Red Ribbon Rally without Law Enforcement presentations!
The rally was tremendous and a ended with words from Instructional Officer Mrs. Oca and promise to live a Drug Free Life!

Graves Elementary celebrated Red Ribbon Week with a rally where students donated non perishable items for the local food pantry. 5th grade Tigers helped collect and organize donations. There was also a terrific Drug Free Drawing contest where each student came up with their own slogans with pictures that shared the Drug Free message. During the rally one student from each grade level was recognized for winning the Drug Free
Seco Mines Elementary is taking a stand! The school is standing up for what is right and they are reminding their students about it everyday. They promise to educate strong drug free students that are kind to everyone! The school is decorated from head to toe in anti bullying and drug free campaign reminders!

The Cardinals invited their students,
parents and our community to join them at Burr Park and walk and/or bike to campus. Students created and walked with their
individually made signs that promoted wellness and thanked all participants and
community businesses that donated to the event. Once they arrived at the campus
treats and goodies were offered to all those that walked, which was immediately followed by a presentation given by administration, community leaders and local business
representatives, all aiming to encourage the start of healthy living and active
communities.
