Benavides Bulldog Cheer Stuns at SWTJC Fall Festival

The Benavides Heights Elementary Cheerleaders had the pleasure to perform at South West Texas Jr. College's annual Fall Festival. The cheerleaders had a spectacular performance and were thrilled to have been apart of this event!

Mr. Lee Rodriguez Named to Bulldog Hall of Fame

Mr. Lee Rodriguez was selected as Benavides Heights Elementary's second recipient of the Bulldog Alumni Hall of Fame Recognition Award for the Pillar of Trustworthiness. The award recipients are selected by Benavides Alumni Recognition Committee based on the Six Pillars of Character: Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility, Fairness, Caring and Citizenship. Mr. Rodriguez represents the pillar of respect. He made an exceptional impression on his fellow Bulldogs at this year’s Red Ribbon Rally.

Seco Mines Celebrates Red Ribbon Rally

On Monday, October 24th, Seco Mines Elementary hosted their Red Ribbon Rally. The event was a smashing success in large part to all who made the event possible. Our Super Miners would like to thank everyone would came and helped spread their Drug Free message!

Graves Honors Custodial Staff

Graves Elementary honored their custodians with a beautiful poem and amazing gift! They were also treated to an ice cream social from the entire Tiger staff!

The Tigers want to thank their custodians for keeping their campus safe and clean!

Benavides Bulldogs Collect for a Cause

The week of October 17-21 was a very busy one for our Benavides Bulldogs! The Bulldog Student Council and Advisory Members were hard at work collecting non-perishables for Father Diego's Food Pantry!

LDC Pledges to Serve Every Student

At LDC a different class announces the different pledges every week. All of the teachers teach their students the Pledge of Allegiance, Texas Pledge and LDC Pledge. This education begins at the Pre-Kinder level. At LDC, they understand that the Pledge of Allegiance is a necessary part of every child's education!  

Rosita Valley Tunes Out Drugs

On Monday, October 24th, Rosita Valley began their week of Red Ribbon promises with a bang! Mrs. Vivian Garcia's class in fact had their own "I Tune" awards where every student promised to "tune" out drugs from their lives! They sassy second graders even shared their award winning spotlight with visiting Border Patrol agents!
