Longhorns Put the Giving Back in ThanksGIVING

Juan Seguin's Student Council hosted a food drive to gift families for this holiday season. 

Several boxes were given out and more will be given through the week.

NHI Visits EPHS

The National Hispanic Institute is seeking Eagle Pass ISD nominations for leadership experience. 

This year, the NHI are once again looking to engage current 9th and 10th grade students for the Texas Star Great Debate which is a 6-day summer leadership experience with a laser focus on communications and public speaking. 

Representative, Julio Cotto gave EPHS Pre-AP freshman and sophomore students information about how the NHI could give leadership and scholarship opportunities:

Eagle Pass High School held its Annual Thanksgiving Potluck on Tuesday, November 15th at the campus library. 

A big thank you to Campus Administrators, Mrs. Cristina Morin, Ms. Patty P. Rodrigues, EPHS Clerk, Ms. Jessica Ibarra, EPHS Library Staff, Mrs. Estela Rodriguez, Mrs. Esperanza Olivo, and their Library Student Aides, Culinary Arts Teacher, Mrs. Debbie De La Garza and all her wonderful students for making this event possible for the EAGLE FAMILY 

 It was a beautiful meal!



Roadrunners in Disguise

The 1st grade classes
at Rosita Valley presented their Disguised Turkey projects. 

Students had to write about how they would save their turkey from being Thanksgiving dinner and then bring their turkey to life.

Turkeys were disguised as popcorn, crayons, and so much more!

Veterans Day at HBG

 On November 11th at Henry B. Gonzalez, the 6th grade classes had a presentation given by United States Marine Corps Gunnery Sergeant Jerry Dominguez. 

The students wrote "Thank You" notes for his bravery service to our country. 

Mr. Dominguez was given a gift as a token of appreciation. 

Way to go Bobcats!

Eagle Pass High School's Guiding Angels visited Seco Mines Elementary and spoke to students about Responsibility and Honesty.
