Alexander High School UIL "Set A" Invitational Academic Meet

On January 11, 2014, Herminia Cruz , Alberto Hernandez, Juan De Hoyos and Bethzaida Navarro competed against 42 other contestants in an 1 1/2 hour examination for UIL Social Studies in Laredo, Texas. The test was over Australia and the islands of Oceania.

Juan finished in the top 8 out of 46 contestants.

Alberto finished 3rd

Herminia finished 1st

The entire team placed 1st out of the twelve that competed!
