February 28th was a day of excitement at CC Winn High as their very own, Coach Eric Villasenor, was named Dave Campbell's Texas Football magazine's Region IV (Rio Grande Valley/Laredo) Coach of the Year!
As Winn's Head Football Coach, he has led his team to their first-ever playoff berth and as we all know, it did not stop there. The Mavericks went on to win two playoff games, surging them into history!
Congratulations are also in order for Coach Villasenor's squad as well. Through their hard work and Coach Villasenor's effective leadership, Dave Campbell's Texas Football has also ranked CC Winn Football in their Top 20 for Region IV. The Mavs are ranked 8th in the Region!
