The
C.C. Winn English Department welcomes Mr. Mychal Sanchez as he begins his
student teaching journey.
Mr.
Sanchez is a former C.C. Winn graduate and the first recipient of the Winn English
Department Scholarship. He attended Southwest Texas Junior College and played
basketball for the Cowboys before returning to his hometown of Eagle Pass.
Mr.
Sanchez majored in English, made the Dean’s list, and was inducted to Alpha
Chi, an organization composed of only the top 10% GPAs across majors.
He is the
son of Mr. Jose T. Sanchez, varsity basketball coach at Winn, and Donna
Sanchez, teacher-aide at EPJH.
He
will be observing and teaching English III and IV with Mrs. Alva-Rodriguez as
his collaborating teacher.
