Winn ELA Justs Wants to Have Fun

On the morning of September 26, 2017, the English classes at C. C. Winn High School were visited by Winn’s Dean of Instruction, Mrs. Rosalinda Jimenez.
Students always enjoy her visits because she never fails to motivate them and commend them on their hard work.
As students work through the fifth week of school, English teachers at Winn have found creative ways to get students excited about writing, and have broken away from having students write their essays on the traditional black and white lined paper.
Various teachers have had student turn essays into flipbooks, lap books, and a few teachers have even been promoting collaborative writing amongst students and have had students turn their essays into jumbo essays to be displayed.

This breakaway from the mold allows the students to enjoy and truly take time and effort in their assignments!
