Thursday, January 15th, people all around the world let freedom ring and celebrated Martin Luther King Jr. Day!
Graves Elementary's 2nd grade Tigers in Mrs. Espi Salinas’ class joined in the celebration to commemorate this historic figure and American civil rights activist.
The students worked on their very own renditions of MLK's "I Have a Dream" speech!
"I Have a Dream" is a public speech delivered by Martin Luther King Jr. during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom on August 28, 1963, where he called for an end to racism in the United States and called for civil and economic rights.
