WHS Bewares of the Ides of March

Sophomores at CC Winn High School studied Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar.
In the play, Julius Caesar is warned by a soothsayer to “Beware the Ides of March”.
The soothsayer was trying to tell Ceasar to beware of March 15th because that was the day he would be assassinated.
As an ode to the Ides of March, Mrs. Salinas' English classes at Winn were tested on Friday, March 15th.
Hugo Gonzalez remembered the significance of March 15th in the Shakespearean play and was rewarded for noting the importance.
Congratulations Hugo!
