Saturday April 27th, San Luis Elementary was awarded a Leadership Camp by CC Winn Student Council and the CC Winn National Honor Society.
This reward was given because of the outstanding participation by campus students during the Love Thy Neighbor Food Drive.
San Luis donated over 4,400 items!
At the leadership camp, over 60 students attended and received leadership skills, participated in team building exercises, and learned communication skills.
Students also engaged in a friendly competition, where all the skills and strategies discussed were put to test. San Luis is proud to have students demonstrate passion toward the well being of others and passion toward being excellent students.
