Monday, April 29th, students in Mrs. Flores’ English II classes at C.C. Winn High School, began presenting their professional interviews.
The students recently submitted their research paper on careers/professions.
Part two of their research paper required them to find a primary source in the community that already works in that specific field.
The questions were based on their upcoming novel, The Alchemist, since the main character is in search of his personal calling.
Students got the chance to interview nurses, state troopers, border patrol agents, teachers, and even our very own local Chick-fil-A restaurant owner, Mr. Juan Garza.
Mrs. Flores would like to thank all those professionals in the community who helped her students learn from them and their real world experiences.
