EPISD Maintenance Update

The Eagle Pass Independent School District (EPISD) recently received an allegation from an anonymous source detailing the potential misuse of EPISD property and time within the Maintenance Department.  

EPISD addresses all allegations seriously and investigates all matters accordingly. EPISD conducted the following tasks, regarding the recent anonymous allegation:  

• On March 6, 2015, Officer Jose Ramos of the EPISD Police Department with the assistance of Maintenance Director, Pedro Felan, conducted a full investigation of the Maintenance Department.  The investigation resulted in negative findings for misuse of equipment and employee time.

• An inventory audit was conducted within the maintenance department which resulted with all equipment and property being accounted for.  

The EPISD is furthering its investigation, but at this moment has deemed the anonymous allegations received towards the EPISD Maintenance Department to be false and baseless without merit.
