Sam Houston Workshop

On Saturday, March 21st Sam Houston Elementary hosted a staff development session on Science with Labs and Reading Connections.  These lessons and presentations were prepared by the following science teachers:

Many of the Sam Houston teachers attended this very important workshop, and a cordial invitation was extended to the South Side elementary schools; teachers from all schools invited participated.
 
The presenters shared lessons, labs, demos, reading connections, materials lists, resources, web sites, etc. with the teachers.  The goal was to provide the resources, tools, and lessons to facilitate the delivery of instruction for Science and how to incorporate other subject areas such as writing, reading, mathematics, history, including technology integration.
