Mrs. Robledo's 6th grade students from Robert E. Lee were asked to create a model science project including the planets and the sun while including important facts.
Students needed to be careful that each planet represents its actual size; for example, Jupiter is the largest planet followed by Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Earth, Venus, Mars and Mercury.
The sun is the largest star in the solar system; its mass is approximately 99 percent of the solar system.
