Thursday, October 11th, CC Winn's Varsity Cross Country boys ran their way to Regionals!
At their district meet, the Mavericks raced to the finish line one after another and claimed 2nd place.
The Mavericks time totaled 1 hour and 23 minutes; this means that each runner averaged eighty one points.
Special congratulations for Ricardo Garcia who is the new District 28 - 5A District Champ!
Moises Villarreal also deserves applause for his 6th place finish.
Regionals will take place on Monday, October 22nd at A&M Corpus Christi.
