Friday, October 19th, the students in Mrs. Camarillo’s English 1301 class at CC Winn concluded the first nine weeks with a class discussion on the first part of Stephen King’s On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft.
In the first part of the memoir King discusses his Curriculum Vitae.
King shares many stories that range from his childhood, to his first big success, to super stardom.
The class emulated King by writing short stories of their own lives and experiences.
Mrs. Camarillo would like to encourage her students to continue reading and, like King, put their thoughts and creative ideas on paper.
