As a way to monitor progress throughout the school year, EPISD had students take a diagnostic practice exam in various content areas.
In English I, teachers were asked to select one specific class period to be monitored.
Mrs. Torres-Hernandez selected her 2nd period class at Winn to take the pre-test back in September.
Now that May is here and the school year is almost over, students were asked to take a post-test on May 2nd. The post-test scores should show progress and growth.
Mrs. Torres hopes her students were able to excel in their exam and can show the district just how much they have grown in knowledge throughout the year.
