Eagle Pass FFA Bring Home 2 Bids for STATE

Eagle Pass FFA

On October 5, Eagle Pass FFA traveled to Welder Wildlife Refuge to compete in the Area X Fall Career Development Events (CDE) in Plant Identification.
 Plant Identification involves participants identifying native wildlife plants, grasses, and their characteristics. 

The Senior team did tremendous as they placed 3rd out of 21 teams and qualified for state competition.

Eduardo De La Garza: top 10
Sebastian Adan: 5th 
Orlando Nava  


 The Greenhand or  “Freshmen” team fared well too as they placed 2nd out of 21 teams and earned themselves a spot for state as well.

Gerardo Galindo: 4th
Chance Perez: top 10
Gunner Purcell: top 10
Alternates were Marifer Santos (top 10), Luisa Esparza (top 10), and Jesus De La Garza
