EPISD Superintendent's Advisory Council Presents Earth Week


The Eagle Pass Superintendent's Advisory Council invites all of EPISD to join them on their mission to make EPISD a greener and safer place to be! 
April 23rd - 27th, EPISD will celebrate Earth Week; a week long celebration to bring awareness over the dangers of pollution and global warming. Please do your part and participate in this inspiring event!

Earth Week
·        Monday – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle! 
o   Wear Gray and recycle paper, plastics, and cans at your school.
·        Tuesday – Don't Let Our Future Go Up in Smoke! (Air Pollution)
o   Wear Blue and let your students know the difference between clean and polluted air.
·        Wednesday – Global Warming is Present Tense, Not Future!
o   Wear Red and watch "Global Warming - Educational Video for Kids" on YouTube in your Science class. 
·        Thursday – Earth Day EVERYDAY!
o   Wear Green and do a campus wide project to celebrate with the district Earth Week. (plant a tree, make recyclable projects, put up birdfeeders)
·        Friday – Together We Can Save the World
o   Wear School’s Spirit Shirt and have your principal sign the district's pledge and promise to join EPISD GO GREEN.
