Mrs. E. Maurer at Henry B. Gonzalez recently had a visit from former student (3rd Grade) Jennifer Snyder.
Jennifer wrote & published a book in 3rd Grade & came to read it to the students.
She spoke greatly about the importance of education, commitment, and reaching goals.
Her book is available at the school library as an AR book!
Students have enjoyed her book and are encouraged to write their own.
Every year, Mrs. Maurer encourages her students to write a book and keeps them in her class library for future students to read.
This is a great way to prove to students that anything is possible if you set your mind to it!
