EPHS Creates Campus Mummy

A few weeks ago students at Eagle Pass High School had been presented with information and studies of the First Ancient Civilizations.
Students are always intrigued with the Egyptians', so Mrs. Riojas-Chong's 2nd period decided to bring history to life with a Mummification Process Project.  Student Adolfo Lozano, immediately researched and informed the class that a chicken would be best to mimic this process with.
Roles and responsibilities were presented and the class decided to bring all materials needed, keep written documentation, and be aware of technology updates so that everything will go as planned with this diligent project.
It is an ever-evolving and long process before the chicken, lovingly known as Pharaoh Sanders, is placed in the sarcophagus for its final resting place. Students will prepare and present this to the other classes.
EPHS is anxiously awaiting what Pharaoh Sanders will look like after 40-50 days!
Can't wait to see the final product! Way to make history come to life Eagles!
