EPISD Police Department Officer of the Week - D.A.R.E. Officer Michael Torralba

EPISD Police Department is pleased to announce their Officer of the Week – D.A.R.E. Officer Michael Torralba.

Michael Torralba began his career in law enforcement after graduating from Del Rio Police Academy in 1996. Torralba was hired by the Maverick County Sheriff’s Office in 1998 and in 2003 he accepted a position with EPISD PD as a full time peace officer. Torralba holds certificates in Advanced Peace Officer, Sexual Assault/Family Violence Investigations, Basic Instructor, Field Training Officer, and School Based Law Enforcement. He also regularly attends active shooter response training and once served as the department’s K-9 Handler. 
As a police officer for EPISD, Torralba has served the district and community in the following areas: Eagle Pass High School, D.A.E.P., and CC Winn High School. He currently resides as EPISD Police Department's D.A.R.E. Officer.
