EPISD PD Dept Spreads Cheer

The Eagle Pass ISD Police Department officers and security were treated to a department luncheon on Thursday Dec. 19, 2019.  
Interim Chief Ynosencio would like to thank all officers who were able to attend, school administrators and school board for taking the time to join us. 
He would like to extend a big THANK YOU to Mr. Garcia Food Service Director and the cafeteria personnel for providing a delicious meal and drinks.  
Everything was well coordinated and we had a great time!

December Librarian Award

On Friday December 13th Graves Librarian Mrs. A. Libson announced her December Librarian Award winner. 

This student always goes on and beyond, he is very helpful in the library as well as in his classroom, always a helping hand to his teacher. He helps Mrs. Salinas in the computer lab with distribution of chrome books. Exhibits wonderful traits. Every time you see Him he greets you with a big smile! SME Christmas Breakfast


On Dec. 6th SME kicked off their yearly tradition with breakfast.
The 1st group treated the staff with some delicious homemade breakfast, from beacon and eggs, to potato and eggs, chorizo and beans,

Isaac is a hard worker and attends school every day.

NOVEMBER LIBRARY ASSISTANT OF THE MONTH

On Monday, December 16, 2019, Chrysta S. Schuessler, EPHS senior and library aide, was recognized as Library Assistant of the Month. Chrysta is very generous and helpful in the library. 
She volunteers in the library before her school day starts. She is efficient and polite.
 For this and many reasons more, Chrysta S. Schuessler is recognized with a small token of appreciation by the library staff.

Gingerbread Man

After reading and discussing "The Gingerbread Man" book, Ms. Ramos' class at Kennedy Hall got a little bit crafty and used their creativity to decorate their gingerbread cookies. 
Kids were able to retell the story, to have fun, and enjoy a delicious cookie.

Miner Nation would like to Congratulate 5th grade student Adalyn Sanchez for being awarded Star of the Month December 2019.
Adalyn was presented with an Award and Read a Thank You letter on December 3rd during the City Council Meeting.

Adalyn, is an extraordinary student who goes above and beyond and gives it a 110% everyday. She's a great leader around school and outside of school.

UIL pre-meet celebration

On Friday Dec. 13th, Graves Elementary held a small gathering for their UIL students to celebrate all their hard work during practice.
