Honor Roll at HBG




 On January 25th, Henry B. Gonzalez Principal Ms. C. Garcia awarded Bobcat students 1st -6th grade that had Honor Roll for the 2nd nine weeks.

EPHS IMMUNIZATION CLINIC

 School Immunization Clinic took place on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at the Eagle Library


Certified Medical Assistant Andrea Baca and Certified Nurse Assistants, Georgina Montoya and Valeria Says Marquina assisted the clinic, thereby putting their skills to practice.

MJH Principles of Information Technology Students

 On Thursday, January 26, Principles of Information Technology students at Memorial attended Mrs. Menchaca’s teacher-led tutorial academy from 4:00 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. 

The students used Mrs. Menchaca's screencastify Instructional Videos to assist them complete the work. 

These students worked on incomplete work, missed assignments, and 1ST Semester credit recovery assignments. 

PIT students will earn (1) high school credit for successfully completing the course.


Thank you to all parents that mended their schedules to provide transportation.


100 Days of School at RVE

 Rosita Valley Elementary 1st graders celebrated the 100th Day of School by making a bag with different candies. 

Students practiced counting candies by 10's to add a total of 100 candies in their snack bags.

2nd Nine Weeks HBG Perfect Attendance

On January 25th, 1st - 6th grade students at Henry B. Gonzalez who had perfect attendance for the 2nd nine weeks were awarded with a Pizza Hut personal pizza, a juice, a sticker and a pencil by Principal, Ms. Garcia.

EPHS NHS Member of the Month

 Eagle Pass High School NHS Sponsors, Ms. Cuellar and Mr. Santos would like to congratulate, December's NHS Member of the Month, Paulina Trevino.

EPHS GUIDING ANGELS TAKE FLIGHT

Eagle Pass High School's Guiding Angels took flight on Wednesday, January 25th for their monthly campus visit.

This month, the students conveyed the importance of character.

EPHS Makes Some Music

Congratulations to the Eagle Pass High School students that participated and performed with The Region 11 Clinic and Concert Event on January 12-13th at Judson High School.

These students were selected to be a part of this Band through Region auditions in December.

They were able to learn and play new songs under the direction of their clinicians.

The clinicians for Band II were Dr. Mireles from St. Mary's University and Dr. Glaser from Texas State University.


The students learned invaluable tools that they will bring back to their fellow classmates.

The district band students traveled along with other band students who got to observe and learn as well in the hopes of being a part of the band for next year's auditions.

2023 MCJLS PIGGY GRAMS FINDS SUCCESS WITH EPISD

 Congratulations to the Top Contributors to the Annual MCJLS Piggy Grams Fundraiser!


16 EPISD campuses and the District Service Center joined forces together to raise money for the 2023 MCJLS Exhibitors.
This year, over $10,000 was raised for these amazing students that raise animals all year.

Imagine Math Stallions


Mrs. Ramón would like to congratulate Julissa, Lina, Maya, and Camila from her 3rd grade class on passing 100 Imagine Math Lessons.

A special shout out goes out to Felipe and Lina for having passed over 200 Imagine Math Lessons

. They received a nice treat bag along with a special coupon to pick up a treat from Sweet Tweets! 

Congratulations to Casen and Bentlee on passing over 300 Imagine Math Lessons! 

These students have been working extra hard and it shows.  Both Casen and Bentlee got to enjoy a bag filled with treats from their teacher . 

And finally a special congratulations to Isaac Villa! 

He received both his 400 and 500 lesson reward from his teacher.

Isaac has continuously worked hard and maintained the top spot in Armando Cerna Elementary for most lessons passed. He has surpassed the 500 lessons mark and continues to work towards his next goal. 

Way to go Isaac! Go Stallions!

On January 24th, students from Henry B. Gonzalez were happy to say and celebrate that they have been in school for 100 days. 

They proudly wore their 100 days of school crown.

Eagle Pass FFA Wins Big in Ft Worth

Congratulations to Jose Jimenez of the Eagle Pass FFA who participated in the Ft Worth Junior Breeding Heifer show.  

Jose placed 6th with his heifer against 24 other competitors.  

Jose is a Senior at EPHS.  

These projects are year round projects raised by the students who learn industry, feeding and breeding standards. 

As part of the Agriculture Science Program students are given the opportunity to raise and show the animals as a supervised project.


EPHS Presents Teens in Driver Seat

 On Wednesday and Thursday, January 18 and 19, 2023, Eagle Pass High School Student Council and Student Leadership students made Teens in the Driver Seat (TIDS) presentations at the MCJLS and conducted tours for the little ones.

TIDS promotes an initiative of teen safe driving by students for students.
