The 4th grade students in Mrs. Garza’s class at Seco Mines participated in the Right-Left game while passing out gifts and celebrating Christmas.

On December 13th, Henry B. Gonzalez' Dance Team participated in the annual Santa Claus at the Eagle Pass Public Library. 

There were different activities for the public to enjoy.

 The Grinch visited Perfecto Mancha Elementary for Christmas

Mrs.Carla Ortiz’s 5th Grade classroom enjoyed the holiday spirit. 

Roadrunners Race Through I-station

Several 1st grade students in Mrs. Tellez' class at Rosita Valley had much to cheer about on December 15th.

This Roadrunner trio earned a Happy Meal as an incentive for meeting their monthly goal on I-station.

Thursday, December 15th, Juan Seguin Elementary hosted a Christmas luncheon for their staff!

It was a great time to enjoy the season together and they were event treated to a special performance from their Mighty Longhorn Dance team!

Christmas Activities at HBG



On December 14th, Henry B. Gonzalez students continued with their holiday dress up days!

The Bobcats participated by wearing different kinds of head gear, from Santa hats to reindeer antlers. 

On December 15th, the students dressed up on their best Christmas holiday attire.

Roadrunners Experience Christmas Movie Magic

 Thursday, December 15th, the 6th graders from Rosita Valley enjoyed a day out before the winter break.

The Roadrunners were treated to a movie a Cinemark before a tasty lunch at Peter Piper!

WHS Silverline Spreads Holiday Cheer

 Thursday, December 15th, Winn Silverline Dance Team transformed into Santa's helpers and passed out treats to the entire faculty as a sweet Christmas treat.

Silverline wanted to spread their Maverick spirit and love with those that support them the most.
The girls made bags with popcorn and chocolate as a sweet snack because they want their fellow Mavs to have a POPPIN' holiday season!

Eagle Soars into Retirement




 

Math is the Path at EPHS

 Dr. Ortiz, a full time professor at Sul Ross State University, has been the math professor for many of the Eagle Pass High math teachers including: Cody Santos, Mary Jo Rico, Stephanie Trevino, Karla Fuantos, Jessica Cardenas, etc.

On December 14th, Dr. Ortiz was invited to be a guest speaker for students who are mathematically curious, and would like to learn about math and its origins.

Students were engaged and had plenty of questions to ask.

Dr. Ortiz was asked about the 4th dimension, where he began to draw the different dimensions to explain it to the students.

EPHS would like to thank Dr. Ortiz for making his way down from Uvalde to enlighten the mighty Eagle students


Sophomore Gives to RVE

 A shout out and a big thank you to Alexander Perez, an EPISD sophomore student who took the initiative to ask for and collect Beanies & Gloves for Rosita Valley students.
