WHS Students Ace Hunter Ed Course

Congratulations to the CC Winn High School students enrolled in the Wildlife and Recreation Management Course.  

The students just completed the state required Hunter Education Certification.  

In order for a person to hunt in the State of Texas, they must complete the Hunter Certification.  

As part of the curriculum, students receive the opportunity to pick up the certification while they are in high school.  

Wildlife and Recreation Management is a pathway offered at CC Winn through the  Agriculture Science program, which is part of the Career and Technical Education Program.

EPR Presents: EPHS Life Skills 2022 Dance an AV DJ event

 The EPHS A/V students were given the amazing opportunity to help DJ this Halloween dance for everyone in life skills. Here are some of the lively and fun moments from the dance!

WHS Silverline Dances into Thanksgiving

 CC Winn's Silverline Dance Team continues with their "Pajama Breakfast Fridays" with special treats courtesy of the sophomore class members.

After a week of preparing their 5 routines for their 8th Annual Sivlerline Christmas Spectacular, the girls were excited to throw on their pjs and relax as they step into the Thanksgiving break.

Friday, November 18th the sophomore Silverliners, Isabella Rodriguez, Paulina Heredia, Fernanda Olivo, Serenida Artiaga, Kaylee Rodriguez, and Aylin Rodriguez showed up to turn their Director's classroom into a Winter Wonderland!

The sophomores outdid themselves with Chick-fil-A sandwiches, doughnuts, Sweet Tweet brownies, fruit, and homemade hot chocolate!

The entire Silverline had a fantastic time together and can't wait to see everyone at their Christmas Show on December 8th!

A Longhorn Thanksgiving

The annual Thanksgiving luncheon at Juan N Seguin was a great success!

Thanks to the help of the Student Council members, the Longhorn staff experienced a delicious meal and enjoyable time together.

Stallions Investigate Statue of Liberty

 Mrs. Treviño’s 3rd grade class at Cerna connected their reading story, “Why is the Statue of Liberty Green?” with a science lab. 

They learned that Lady Liberty’s copper naturally oxidized to form its familiar "patina" green coating. 

They had so much fun testing this out on their very own copper pennies.

Stallions Tackles Imagine Math

Congratulations to Aidee Morales from Ms. Salazar’s class  at Cerna for having passed more than 25 Imagine Math lessons two weeks ago. 

She was gifted a goody bag with delicious snacks.

Roadrunners Kick Off Holiday Season

Rosita Valley is in the holiday spirit!

The staff was quick to make this season memorable and already are rocking their Christmas sweaters!

Congratulations to Rosita Valley students, Kimberly Valdez and Shakira Valdez. 

They made the All Stars Division 3.

Roadrunners Top Imagine Math

Congratulations to 1st place: Bryan, 2nd place: Sebastian, and 3rd place: Emilio in Mrs. Tellez' 1st grade class at Rosita Valley Elementary for earning their Imagine Math certificate.

They have passed more than 10 lessons and were treated to doughnuts and a juice.

Creative Writing in HBG

 On November 17th, Mrs. Dominguez' 6th grade class at Henry B. Gonzalez got creative and festive with their writing!

The students worked on a Thanksgiving Writing Quilt.

Bobcats Host Thanksgiving Giveaway

On November 16th, Henry B Gonzalez 1st grade teacher, Ms. Salinas, held a Thanksgiving raffle. 

Congratulations to Kevin Soberon and Nathan Garrido for being the winners of the raffle. 

The basket contained a turkey with all the trimmings.

A Very Bobcat Thanksgiving

On November 16th, Henry B. Gonzalez came together for their annual Thanksgiving luncheon courtesy of PTO.

There were several flavored turkeys which were cooked differently along with all the trimmings. 

There were also many different desserts.

SME All-Stars

Seco Mines students received a school surprise visit from Eagle Pass Parks & Recreation Department!

Congratulations to 6th grade students Santiago Mongoy, and Sophia Iracheta who made it to the Volleyball All-Stars and 4th grade srtudent Aaron Castillo who made it to the Flag Football All-Stars!

Miner Staff Appreciation Luncheon

Seco Mines' PTO hosted a delicious Thanksgiving Meal for all Miner staff in appreciation for dedication, time, and hard work for the Miner student body learning at Seco Mines Elementary. 

The Miners would like to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving Break! 

Thank you to the  Miner parents and volunteers who helped out during the luncheon.

WHS Silverline Kicks Off Holiday Season

CC Winn's Silverline Dance Team is so excited to kick off the holiday season!
They are deep in preparation for their 8th Annual Sivlerline Christmas Spectacular and are so excited to share the stage with all the other talented performers across EPISD.
The holiday spirit is deep with these girls and keep the Christmas jolly, the girls are hosting "Pajama Breakfast Fridays" from now until the Christmas break.
This gives the girls to come to class in pjs and enjoy a fun and spirited time together!
The 1st group to host the breakfast on Friday, November 11th were the freshmen dancers, Mya Sanchez and Adriana Martinez!
With the help from Director Denisse Villarreal and Co-Sponsor Gaby Martinez, the freshmen treated their Silverline Sisters to Starbuck coffee and pastries, fruit, and McDonald's sausage biscuits and hashbrowns!
What a way to keep the spirit of the season alive!

Stallions Treat Staff to Luncheon

On Wednesday, November 16th, Cerna's Student Council members assisted with the Thanksgiving luncheon for teachers and staff. 

The luncheon was a success!

The Stallions in Mrs. Mata’s 2nd grade class at Cerna were very excited to share their Turkey in Disguise Project. 

They also celebrated their Thanksgiving feast and shared what they were thankful for.

Eagle Pass High School's Math Night was held on Wednesday, November 16th and it was a HUGE SUCCESS!
