EPISD Bilingual Language Acquisition Summer Program Supervisor Gives Thanks

Mrs. V. Ainslie, Supervisor for the Bilingual Language Acquisition Summer Program 2019  would like to express her sincere thanks for the excellent support provided by her staff during the summer.
The staff organized and hosted a student performance for the parents and board members as well as central office administrators.
The presentation was spectacular, and it was evident with the parent delighted attendance.
Staff efforts contributed substantially to the quality of the presentation and the effectiveness of the program was enhanced by the professionalism displayed by the staff in providing profound dedication, and daily student motivation .

Mrs. Ainslie believes this was one of the most productive and highly teacher motivated programs; the students made substantial progress demonstrating it at the end with an amazing performance. The success of this interaction was due, in no small part, to the support provided by all the staff including Mrs. Laura Velez who volunteer to work this summer program.

EPISD Bilingual Language Acquisition Summer Program Presentation

Thursday, June 27th, the EPISD Bilingual Language Acquisition Summer Program at Glass opened their doors to parents for an Open House extravaganza.
Hundreds of parents visited the school to witness the amazing performances their children had planned for them.
The students put on a performances complete with superhero masks and capes.
They were also treated to the wise words of Author Xavier Garcia.
The program would like to thank all the parents and administration that came to the event and helped make it a smashing success.

EPJ Cheer Lends a Helping Hand

Thursday, June 27th, Eagle Pass Junior High Cheerleaders volunteered at the City of Eagle Pass' Loving Hearts Softball Game. 
The teams enjoyed cheering and dancing with all the competitors. 
EPJ  would like to thank the City of Eagle Pass and Mr. Juan Cuellar for the invitation. 
They would also like to invite everyone to come support the teams at their next tournament on Thursday, July 11th at 7pm at Chelo's Field. 

EPJ Cheer Hosts Peter Piper Night

Wednesday, June 26th, Eagle Pass Junior High Cheer hosted a Peter Piper Spirit Night and it was a smashing success!
EPJ Cheer would like to take this time to thank everyone that came and played a role in the success.

EPISD Bilingual Summer Program Centers Around Learning

Thursday, May 30th, the EPISD  Bilingual Summer Program utilized every minute of their morning together!
As the program is nearing the end, the active students in Mrs. Salazar's class at LDC had a day full of learning and exploration.
The students enjoyed working in learning centers and the opportunity to work together to build understanding.
Centers focused on music, experiments, and oral language games!

EPISD Bilingual Summer Program Hosts Open House

Monday, July 1st, the EPISD Bilingual Summer Program at Kennedy Hall opened their doors to parents for an Open House extravaganza.
Hundreds of parents visited the school to witness the amazing performances their children had planned for them.
The classrooms put on a performances complete with frog or spider head piece!  
All the students came out with smiles on their faces and warmed the crowd's hearts!

EPISD Bilingual Language Acquisition Summer Program Presentation

Thursday, June 27th, the EPISD Bilingual Language Acquisition Summer Program hosted their summer program to their peers and campus administration.
The students worked hard for several weeks to prepare for this great event!
The students had a great time presenting about the various concepts like  "I am a Hero" and more!
Students presented to them through presentations and capes. 
The Summer Bilingual Staff would like to thank EPISD Board President Mr. Barrera, Superintendent Mr. Gonzalez, and Bilingual Director Mr. Sanchez for joining in the celebration and helping demonstrate some concepts.

EPISD Bilingual Summer Program Paints with Colors of the Wind

Friday, June 28th, the EPISD Bilingual Summer Program attended the Arts Council of Eagle Pass' presentation of "Pocahontas" at CC Winn High School's Auditorium.
The students had a great time seeing the actors in action under the bright lights!
Special thanks to Director, Mr. Adolfo Flores Jr. for this great opportunity!

EPISD Bilingual Summer Program Can Hear the Music

Friday, June 28th, the EPISD  Bilingual Summer Program had a blast during their Music lesson.
The students loved being able to sing along with their teachers.
They are making every minute count as this served as  practice for their grand performance for their parents.
