CCWHS English II Classes Enjoy a Change of Scenery

English II classes at CCWHS recently had a Poetry Nature Walk that took learning out of the classroom.

Teachers created QR codes and placed them outside where students scanned them to read various nature-themed poems. Students then worked in groups to analyze at least 6 of the poems.

This was a fantastic and innovative way to engage students in the study of poetry while connecting with nature!

Kudos to the teachers at CCWHS for thinking outside the box and providing such a rich learning experience for their students!
