EPHS Rings in Halloween

 EPHS Cafeteria Staff celebrated Halloween in style!

Roadrunners Pumpkin Patch

 Mrs. Tellez' 1st graders at Rosita Valley presented their Fall Pumpkins to their peers. 

With the help of their parents, the students decorated their pumpkin like their favorite cartoon or book character.

EPHS Honor Roll Eagles

Eagle Pass High School's Honor Roll Students began picking up their recognition decals for the 1st nine weeks at the school library.

EPHS Principal, Mr. Luis Huerta, commends these Eagles for pushing through distractions and attaining these goals! Daily efforts are necessary for this achievement.

National Responders Day at HBG

 On October 28th, Henry B. Gonzalez' 6th classes welcomed the Eagle Pass Fire Department for  National First Responders Day. 

The Bobcats wrote letters thanking them for being the heroes of our community. 

The First Responders exhibited the fire truck and shared with the Bobcats their everyday duties.

On October 26th, Rosita Valley Elementary staff and students participated at the C.C Winn Mavericks Homecoming parade.

 Students in Mrs. Tellez' class at Rosita Valley learned about different kinds of sentences in grammar. 

Sofia and Jaime were assigned to read and identify statements and questions with their peers using the "ARE THEY STATEMENTS?" activity.

Stallions Hit Imagine Math Milestone

Ms. Villarreal's would like to congratulate her students Ian Rangel and Nik Ybarra at Cerna for having passed over 50 Imagine Math lessons each!

They were each gifted a goody bag with delicious snacks!

WHS Silverliners of the Week 10/21

 On Friday, October 21st, Winn's Silverline Dance Team awarded Silverliners of the week to Junior, Alexa Diaz-Wever and Sophomore, Kaylee Rodriguez. 

These young ladies were recognized for being exemplary team members and epitomes of hard work and commitment.

The 2nd graders in Mrs Flores’ class at Cerna, took turns identifying action verbs.

They even enjoyed a friendly competition between Girls vs Boys.

Stallions Reach Imagine Math Milestones

Congratulations to the following students from Ms. Salazar’s class at Cerna for completing 25 passed lessons on Imagine Math.

Also, a well deserved congratulations goes out to Brandon Ramos for completing his pathway on Imagine Math for the second time around.

He received a Happy Meal from McDonalds for a job well done.

Stallions Rack Up AR Points

 Ms. Kancheff would like to congratulate her Cerna Stallion, Renata Perez, for being the Top AR reader in her class the 1st Nine Weeks with a total of 56 points! 

Renata loves to read on a daily basis and is always setting a great example to others! 

Her achievements don’t go unnoticed and Ms. Kancheff awarded her with her choice of lunch.
