2026 EPISD Stadium Rules/Tips for EPHS Eagles vs WHS Mavericks Football Game

Tip 1: Signs

There will be no decoration on the goal posts. Banners, signs, and replicas of school mascots shall be of a permanent nature, free standing and placed at a fixed point. They are also limited to student organizations and authorized booster club members. Paper banners or painted posters will not be allowed. All spirit signs must be tied to the stadium railing. The taping of signs to any stadium structure will not be permitted. Signs must not obstruct the view of the playing field and all signs must be in good taste and inoffensive.

Tip 2: Prohibited Items

EPISD Student Activity Center has implanted a strict CLEAR BAG only policy at all their events. If you bring a bag that is not clear you will be turned away and asked to leave your belongings in your vehicle before entering. Prohibited items include the following Balloons, confetti, confetti cannons, powder, fireworks, roman candles and all similar items. If you are found with them, they will be confiscated. If you use them during the game, you will be removed. In addition, no outside food or drinks i.e. coolers, ice chests, picnic baskets will be allowed entry into the stadium. Schools and guests are also prohibited to bring live animals in the stadium

Tip 3: Safety

Presence on the field prior to and during the game, including half time, and after the game-apart from the players and those directly connected with the game. This is limited to cheerleaders, dancers, flag detail, bands of participating teams, those essential to support the break through or tunnel, photographers, media, and high school students associated with these activities. Spectators will not be allowed on the field before, during, or after the game. Absolutely no climbing over the rails from the bleachers to the field. There will be no crossing over by spectators from the home side of the stadium to the visitor’s side and vice versa.

Tip 4: Noisemakers

No noisemakers, mechanical or otherwise, (including, but not limited to bullhorns, air horns, cranks) and no musical instruments, other than those in the participating bands and pep squads will allowed. In addition, only the home team will be allowed use of the speakers.

Tip 5: Carpooling and Traffic

Carpooling is strongly suggested due to the heavy traffic that is always expected for this game. Due to this, we are asking for spectators to please use the east entrance on 480. Taking Loop 480 to 277 will help divide the traffic in front of the Student Activity Center and aid the process of allowing vehicles to enter and exit the parking lot.

Tip 6: Reserved Seating

This year all tickets must be purchased ahead of time using the GoFan app or web link. Everyone must have a mobile ticket to enter the stadium. Anyone sitting in the reserved section must have a reserved ticket regardless of age. Please be ready to show proof of seat when prompted. Remember YOUR PHONE IS YOUR TICKET!

Tip 7: UIL & District Rules

UIL & district rules will be enforced. Sportsmanship is expected from not only all those participating in the game, but the spectators as well. Circumstances which are viewed by stadium administrators as dangerous, damaging, or detrimental to the atmosphere of the game are absolutely prohibited and will be dealt with accordingly. If you are caught participating in anything that causes disruption to the game you will be asked to leave. This includes smoking or use of tobacco anywhere in the facility.

2026 Graduation Tips & Procedures

TIP 1:
EPISD SAC gates will open at 6:00 p.m. and the ceremony will begin promptly at 8:00 p.m. With nearly 500 seniors graduating from both high schools, traffic can be overwhelming which is why we highly recommend for families and graduates to carpool. We also suggest that guests use the alternative route to the Student Activities Center.
Taking Loop 480 to 277 will help divide the traffic in front of the Student Activity Center and aid the process of allowing vehicles to enter and exit the parking lot.

TIP 2:
Dress Code! All students participating in the graduation ceremonies must be compliant with school dress code policy. Any student not in compliance will not be allowed to participate. This includes no markings, messages, or labels on the cap or the gown. This year, all stoles and cords must be approved by campus administration. This means any stoles that are not campus or district related will not be allowed at graduation and if a student wears a stole that is not approved it will be confiscated and available to pick up at the student's campus on the next business day. And finally, high heels are absolutely not allowed on the field! Girls may only wear flat-footed shoes.

Tip 3:
Certain items are not allowed on the field! The graduate cannot bring backpacks, purses, sacks or bags of any kind. Foreign objects such as beach balls, balloons, air horns, fireworks, etc. are not allowed. If you are caught with a controlled substance or under the influence, you will be removed! Also, for guests, only clear bags will be allowed in the stadium. If you bring a bag that is not clear you will be turned away and asked to leave your belongings in your vehicle before entering. And finally, ICE CHESTS ARE NOT ALLOWED on the premises! Only clear water bottles and/or containers will be allowed in the stadium.

Tip 4:
All students must line up on the field already in cap and gown for procession. Every student is expected to behave appropriately and act respectfully towards all the people there to honor them. If behavior becomes an issue the student will be dismissed from the ceremony and they will have to pick up their diploma on the next business day at their home campus.

Tip 5:
This year, photos taken of the graduate receiving their diploma will be free to download off the district’s website. You will go to https://episd.smugmug.com/ and then click on either the EPHS Graduation or WHS Graduation album. Once you click on the album, you will be able to scroll and look through all the photos that were taken at graduation. When you find the photo(s) you would like to download, you will click on it and then click the download icon to receive your free photo(s).

Tip 6:
The last bit of information is in case of inclement of weather. If there is rain on graduation day, Eagle Pass High School’s ceremony will be moved to 10:00 am Saturday, May 23rd and CC Winn High School’s would be moved to Sunday,
May 24th. So, if it is raining the day of your assigned graduation please tune into your local radio station, check all EPISD social media pages, and/or call your campus to receive further details. If rain continues on your reassigned Graduation date, the ceremony will be canceled and you can pick up your diploma on the next business day at your home campus.
Graduation is an important time in all of our lives and if we follow these tips and procedures, the Class of 2026’s graduation will be one for the record books.
