Back on April 12, 2014 six Eagle
Pass ISD School Bus Drivers competed against Regions 20-13 at the annual Bus
Rodeo.
The competition consisted of
12 events including but not limited to Vehicle Inspection, Railroad Crossing, the
Curb Line Event, Stop Line Event and General Knowledge Test.
Eagle Passes very own Rogelio
Gonzalez placed 2nd at the Rodeo and competed at the state level on June 21 in
Corpus Christi Texas. He competed at the Texas Association of Pupil Transportation
State Conference and it was there that Mr Gonzalez placed 3rd place.
This past July, Mr. Gonzalez competed on a national level in South Carolina where he was ranked in the top 15.

for his efforts and dedication to being one of the best in the state of Texas!
