EPHS Student Council is eternally grateful to all those staff members that support us throughout the school year. They are especially appreciative of their beloved EPHS custodians who put up with all their demands and messes. These hard-working staff members have a tiresome job while receiving little to no recognition.
This Christmas season, EPHS StuCo has implemented a new program the week of December 18th-22th called "Janitor 4A Day".
Their goal is to have StuCo members shadow and assist a custodian while they perform their duties during the morning breakfasts, the lunches, and after school when they clean the rooms.
They hope that their program “Janitor 4A Day” takes flight and is implemented throughout the school year.
In fact, they challenge other school clubs and organizations both on their campus and on others throughout EPISD to join them in their efforts to help their respective custodians.
EPHS StuCo strongly believes that is is EVERYONE'S responsibility to keep our schools clean.
When students are given an opportunity to take ownership of their campus, they are prouder and feel more at home while at school.
