Christmas Around the World with Seco Mines Elementary

Tuesday, December 18th, the 1st grade students at Seco Mines Elementary learned about how Christmas is celebrated in Australia.
They decorated their own boomerang and learned about different Australian animals.
They jumped like kangaroos, slithered like venomous snakes and “hung” from trees like koalas.
In addition, they discovered that Christmas in Australia takes place in the summer so Santa wears his summer suit!
G’Day mate!
