Wednesday, December 5th, Mr. Picazo's 5th grade class at Ray Darr worked on a lab over evaporation.
Evaporation is a type of vaporization that occurs on the surface of a liquid as it changes into the gas phase when it reaches its boiling point.
The surrounding gas must not be saturated with the evaporating substance.
In the lab, the students were able to watch a liquid transform into a gas.
