Saturday, December 1st, Ray Darr was represented by two staff members at the Rock n Roll Marathon in San Antonio.
I.O. Mr. R. Carrillo and 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Gomez came back from their experience and spoke to some classes about how a marathon works and how running or even walking can improve your health.
They stressed to their students that no obstacle should hold anyone back from reaching their goal.
They compared it to how the STAAR and ITBS tests are just an obstacle that one can beat just by training and practicing for them.
