Thursday, December 13th, Liberty Elementary celebrated the students in Mrs. Blanca Martinez’ class for becoming published authors and illustrators, with a Book Premiere event.
In the book “Conquering Dyslexia,” Mrs. Martinez’ students share their experiences hoping to raise dyslexia awareness, and give hope to parents and dyslexic students.
It was a joyful and proud morning for the published authors, who got to read their book to their parents and guests.
At the end of the presentation, all of the students, now published authors, autographed books and took pictures with the audience.
Becoming a published author is a huge accomplishment for any writer, but is especially exciting at such a young age.
Mrs. Martinez’ students were especially proud of facing their fears and reading in front of an audience.
Not only did they do it, but they did an amazing job at it.
Congratulations to this exceptional group of students on such an important achievement.
