Tuesday, November 27th, C.C. Winn Leadership class' community project "Talkative Tuesday" had a special guest visit all the way from New York City. Eagle Pass native, Xorje Olivares, visited with the students and spoke a little about his various jobs working in the public eye and meeting high profile people on a daily or weekly basis.
Xorje hosts a radio show on Sirius XM, and is always interviewing guests for his segments.
He emphasized the importance of a good hand shake and eye contact when speaking with others.
The focus of the day was to work on their approaches, and how to properly meet and greet dignitaries.
Student Council is always willing to learn new tips on how to better themselves and their public appearances.
