Friday, November 30th, Mrs. Garcia's 1st grade class at Graves Elementary were ready to learn all about day and night.
Day and night occur because the Earth is spherical.
When a portion of the Earth faces the Sun, it is daytime.
When the same are rotates away from the Sun, it is nighttime.
During their science lesson, the students were tasked with comparing day and night.
