Wednesday, December 5th, C. C. Winn High School's Dual Credit Government class held a debate about political recent events.
The students took three weeks to prepare for this debate.
Debaters, Suzette Montfort and David Perez, wrote a three minute speech on their positions and presented them to the class.
After they were both done with their debates, students from the class asked each debater questions over their positions and views.
At the end of the debate, the Mavericks were able to show their knowledge of the issues going on today and how they effect them.
Ms. J. Rodrigues, Adjunct Professor for SWTJC, was very pleased with her students' work.
