Tuesday, December 18th, Mrs. Flores’ English II classes, at C.C. Winn High School decided to come together and make a generous donation for families in need this Christmas season.
They were recently asked to write about what the holiday season meant to them and how they could spread a little more Christmas cheer and kindness in the community.
Mrs. Flores decided to put those writing skills to work in a more creative way, by having the students write their Christmas reflection on a Christmas tree template and fill up their stocking visual with their own wish list.
The students along with their teacher will be donating these items to Redeemer Episcopal Church & School, and from there they will be distributed to local families.
Students learned that generosity goes a long way and that giving is way better than receiving.
