Carlos Vela, Spanish teacher at Winn High School, has the distinct honor of directing the UIL Spanish Oral Reading event for the 42nd District UIL meet.
Thursday, December 6th, a group of teachers from Winn High School volunteered to judge the preliminaries for Spanish Oral Reading.
The preliminaries for 4th, 5th, and 6th grades were held at the Raul A. Gonzalez Fine Arts Center.
The judges were impressed by the competitors’ commitment to their readings and wish all the finalists who will compete Saturday, December 8th, good luck!
