On Tuesday, December 10th, 2019, C.C. Winn High School student, Diego Esquivel, was awarded the Scholar of the Month title for the month of December.
Diego is proudly representing the hardworking Mavericks as he wrote an essay highlighting his accomplishments in the C.C. Winn Maverick Band and as a member of the Explorers program.
Mr. Diaz, C.C. Winn High School Principal, and Mrs. Flores, Diego's English II teacher, are very proud of Diego for setting a great example in his classes as well as in the community. Diego's career goal is to become a U.S. Customs agent.
With his hard work, dedication, and goal-oriented mindset, Diego will go very far! Mrs. Flores wishes him the very best in his future endeavors.
