EPHS Pre-AP Chemistry students in Mrs. De Luna's classes were assigned the task to choose a product and research 4 ingredients that were also chemical compounds found in their product.
The students had to write the formula of each compound and discuss the physical and chemical properties of the compound. Students also had to calculate the molar mass of each compound.
The student products ranged from different foods, cosmetics and cleaning products.
