On November 19, 2019, Mr. Laurence's Ap Environmental Science class went down to the river to gather water samples.
The students spent time in class learning different ways to test the quality of the water we drink. From the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water to how much bacteria is in it.
Mr. Laurence went time teaching the class the importance of each test and what it means about the water we drink.
In order to put the lab procedures into work, the class took a trip to the Rio Grande river in order to see how the water is in our own town.
