On Thursday, November 14th, 4th grade students at Sam Houston elementary read Narrative Nonfiction passages on the Battle of the Alamo.
Students thoroughly enjoyed hearing about the victory Leader Sam Houston brought to the Texans after the loss if the Alamo!
Students then worked on analysis and identified central idea, text structures, Authors purpose and point of view among other skills. Students were excited and enjoyed this small comprehensive check after their reading.
