On Tuesday, February 11, 2020, AP Spanish student, Sebastian Aguilar, participated in the Annual Spanish Spelling Bee in San Antonio, Texas. Sebastian is a Junior at C.C. Winn High School. A group of 12 high school students from across the region gathered at ESC 20 to compete in the championships and only one walked out with the title. It was a great experience for Sebastian and he promised to return next year for the title. It was the first time C.C. Winn participated in the competition.
