Monday, February 10, Mrs. Elam's class at the Early Childhood Center started the week by making ice-cream Sundaes. What a sweet gesture by substitute teacher Mrs. Lucia Mancha. She generously donated all the ingredients. The kids made a list of the ingredients and then wrote a How- to Procedural Writing: How to Make an Ice-Cream Sundae and used transition words. What a fun and delicious way to get the kids excited about writing. Great job ECC!
