On Feb. 7, second grade students at San Luis Elementary received a very special visit from IBC representatives. IBC reps came to speak to students about personal financial literacy. Second grade students are now expected to manage one's financial resources effectively for lifetime financial security. Some topics discussed were: calculate how money saved can accumulate into a larger amount over time and explain that saving is an alternative to spending. Thank you second grade teachers: Mrs. Palafox, Mrs. Segura, Mrs. Olivares, and Mrs. Casillas for providing the students with financial knowledge.
