WHS Analyzes Lyrics


On February 7, students in Miss Cruz' English II classes at CC Winn High School were tasked with selecting one of their favorite songs and analyzing the song for specific literary elements. Songs needed to include a valuable message. Students then printed their chosen song's lyrics at the school library and then returned to class to find the song's tone, mood, message, and various other literary elements. Students enjoyed this fun learning activity after having spent the majority of the week completing their mid-common assessments.
