The 1st grade Miner students at Seco Mines learned about "Understanding Character" and enjoyed a pumpkin patch activity! GO MINERS!

Happy Halloween Roadrunners!On October 28th, Henry B. Gonzalez' 6th classes welcomed the Eagle Pass Fire Department for National First Responders Day.
The Bobcats wrote letters thanking them for being the heroes of our community.
The First Responders exhibited the fire truck and shared with the Bobcats their everyday duties.
Way to go Bobcats!On October 26th, Rosita Valley Elementary staff and students participated at the C.C Winn Mavericks Homecoming parade.
Ms. Villarreal's would like to congratulate her students Ian Rangel and Nik Ybarra at Cerna for having passed over 50 Imagine Math lessons each!
They were each gifted a goody bag with delicious snacks!

The Bobcats wish the Mavericks football players the best of luck vs. Laredo Martin Tigers.
On October 27th, Henry B. Gonzalez held Literacy Night and had a huge turnout.
There were readers, activities, learning strategies for parents, games and snacks.
It was a night full of fun and learning.

The Stallions at Cerna teamed up against drugs and wore their favorite sports team jersey to close out Red Ribbon Week!

The 2nd graders in Mrs Flores’ class at Cerna, took turns identifying action verbs.
They even enjoyed a friendly competition between Girls vs Boys.

The Bobcats had so much school spirit it was "SCARY".
The Bobcats also wish the Homecoming participants and football players good luck.
Ms. Kancheff would like to congratulate her Cerna Stallion, Renata Perez, for being the Top AR reader in her class the 1st Nine Weeks with a total of 56 points!
Renata loves to read on a daily basis and is always setting a great example to others!
Her achievements don’t go unnoticed and Ms. Kancheff awarded her with her choice of lunch.
